School For Husbands

Moliere's School for Husbands is a wonderfully slapstick commedia dell'arte farce. Sganarelle is getting on in years, but has a lovely young lady, Isabelle, as his ward. He's raised her since a small child, but kept her under constant restraint and surveillance with the intent to marry her. But now a snappy young man presents himself as a rival. Who can he trust? What is she up to? What can he do? The laughs ensue!
